Diadems is a quartet hard rock band formed in Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan last November 2015.
Influenced by 90's metal scenes. Thrash metal music in the likes of Metallica and Megadeth.
The quartet giving their tunes to make balanced music from the Indie and Nu Metal of today's music scene in the fantastic island of Palawan.
The recent line up struggled from the re-entering of thrash metal music. Giving way to thrash metal can be acceptable from the recent generation by giving them a twist with the new genra.
The 2-year survival of Diadems resulted and accepted by Puerto Princesa City metal group. Hence, homegrown strongly supported the local groups, but the rural side cannot be considered.
Diadems started their debut tour outside Rio Tuba supporting "Red Horse Pasiklaban" with Puerto Princesa's great Nu metal band Rylodia and thrash metal group 66Fahrenheit on mid 2016 and 2017. Invitations via "Metal Night" event with death metal and hardcore bands of Puerto Princesa City was followed. Later exposure of their thrash music was recognized and officially included in the strong line up of the prestigious annual musical event in Palawan, the "Mic Check VI" last December 2017 with High Hello, The Flipside, Raptured Faith, Rylodia, Watching Scenes, Walwal, Wateber, and the 2017 Red Horse Muziklaban Grand Champion Woopis.
Small gigs locally and hosting their own event was been on Diadems attention for the first quarter of 2018.
Recent Diadems performance was last July 2018 for the "Tugtuganation 2018" event. On the first leg with Boarnovus, Schizo, Raptured Faith, Rylodia, Watching Scenes and Australia's Dreamers Crime last July 8 at NCCC Parking Area. On the second leg of the same event with Rylodia, Watching Scenes and Dreamers Crime last July 10 at Tiki Resto Bar.
For the upcoming event, don't miss Diadems on Rock 80's / 90's at Junction Street Market and Bulahaw VI at DJ Balcony to be held both in Puerto Princesa City.
Diadems is in progress doing their debut single and it will be out by end of 2018.
